<p>This new edition will feature end-of-chapter exercises and will be accompanied by a modernised set of open-source simulation tools (available from <a href="https://launchpad.net/qwwad" rel="nofollow">https:/<wbr/>/launchpad.<wbr/>net/qwwad</a>). New material will include matrix-based solutions of the Schroedinger equation, thermal modelling techniques and new carrier transport calculations.</p>
