I've been testing the Twistsed-based portscanner that checks the hosts in a given netblock (or blocks) for open TCP ports and then generates pymon config files for those services (TCP ping check only). I'm in the middle of writing the TCP ping checker (100% python, no need for an external tool or for a local agent service to be running, which is what the current ping checker uses) and should be done with that soon.</p>
