Glade 3.7.2 the third development snapshot leading up to 3.8
is now fresh out of the oven ! (and the crowd goes *roar*).

WARNING, this is *not* widely tested and it's not a stable
release (please don't package me, wait for 3.8 and 3.10).

This release still depends on GTK+ 2.20, however 3.8 will
be the last Glade version supporting GTK+ 2.x series and
will depend on GTK+ 2.24 (the idea is to get a version
out that people can test with the GTK+ they have installed
before including all the fancy backported stuff available
in GTK+ 2.24).

This release comes with 2 particular highlights:

- New Preview feature by Marco Diego Aurélio Mesquita

Now it's possible to fire up a preview window from glade and
see how your interface will look in real life, currently it
does not do much but eventually we plan to allow configuration
of specific desktop settings and themes to be set for the preview
window (so that application designers can see how the UI will
react under different desktop or mobile platform environments).

- The Glade bug-list now contains ZERO known crasher bugs, please
smoke test this baby and let us know if you find anything wrong
(as specially crashers of course).
libpeas 0.5 - plugins for everyone2010-06-07T11:32:24.047742+00:002010-06-07T11:32:23.981484+00:00tag:launchpad.net,2010-06-07:/+announcement/6020Łukasz Jernaśhttps://launchpad.net/~deejay1
Hi all,

I am very proud to announce today the first release of libpeas - the plugin engine from gedit, enhanced - in its version 0.5.0.

libpeas is the next evolution of the Gedit plugins engine, and is targetted at giving every application the chance to assume its own extensibility. It also has a set of enhanced features with regard to what Gedit used to provide, mirroring the desiderata of your favourite text editor's developpers:
- multiple extension points
- on demand (lazy) programming language support for C, Python and JS
- simplicity of the API

More details can be found on the announcement blog post here:

Many many thanks to those who made this possible, and especially to the current very active gedit team (Paolo Borelli, Jesse van den Kieboom, Ignacio Casal Quinteiro and Garett Regier)

Note that this release; while only adding stability to the 3.6.x series should be considered "unstable" for all intensive purposes, this release is not targeting GNOME 2.30.
A functional version2009-09-03T19:33:14.712690+00:002009-09-03T19:33:14.643057+00:00tag:launchpad.net,2009-09-03:/+announcement/3667Paco Salidohttps://launchpad.net/~psalido
Test
1232009-01-08T18:44:51.084225+00:002009-01-08T18:44:51.038759+00:00tag:launchpad.net,2009-01-08:/+announcement/1767Nikola Yanevhttps://launchpad.net/~gericom
begining
Call for volunteers for maintaining gnome-games package2008-12-17T13:10:17.506082+00:002008-12-17T13:10:17.369102+00:00tag:launchpad.net,2008-12-17:/+announcement/1635Lucas Vieiteshttps://launchpad.net/~lucasvieites
Hi, I'm LucasVieites. Since I created this package in launchpad some years ago I have been assigned as maintainer. I do not wish to keep this role as I have nothing to do with this package anymore (I used to be the translator for the Spanish language).
Any volunteers?
Preferably someone who is active in the project or has general knowledge on how to "maintain" a project like this.
