This means that any changes to questions or new questions are included in the search results. In fact, any data older than two minutes is guaranteed to be included in the data the server uses.

The server running at audata.quickmediasolutions.com currently has these new changes deployed.
Ask Ubuntu Data Server 0.1 Released2011-04-15T07:47:16.182752+00:002011-04-15T07:47:16.124362+00:00tag:launchpad.net,2011-04-15:/+announcement/8169Nathan Osmanhttps://launchpad.net/~george-edison55
After a lot of hard work and testing, we are pleased to release Ask Ubuntu Data Server 0.1. The server is now fully functional and is extremely efficient at searching through the gigantic amount of data available in the data dumps. The installer contains everything you need to get started including the index conversion tool, which creates the optimized index that the server uses.
Server Is Now Live2011-04-12T22:26:12.862452+00:002011-04-12T22:26:12.785898+00:00tag:launchpad.net,2011-04-12:/+announcement/8157Nathan Osmanhttps://launchpad.net/~george-edison55
The data server is now live at 'audata.quickmediasolutions.com'. The server there is listening on two ports. Raw requests should be directed to port 12345 and HTTP traffic should be routed to port 12346.

For raw requests, simply send the search string followed by CRLF. You will receive the search results as JSON after which the connection will be closed.

After initialization, the server responds to queries on port 12345 with search results. Performance is acceptable and actually quite impressive (lookups are within 10 Ms).

The code creates two binaries: an executable which listens on the given port, and a shared library that performs the search. The shared library also exposes some C-compatible functions, allowing Python programs to make use of the search interface as well.
